Gens Mundi B&B Ostia Antica

We had an exceptional stay at this B&B. The hosts were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The room and bathroom were fantastic, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious shower. The breakfast provided was delicious and there was a coffee machine available. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a kitchen and living area that we shared with another guest. Additionally, the location was perfect, as it was very close to the metro heading into Rome near Trastevere, the ruins of Ostia Antica, and even the beach. The cleanliness of the hotel was also noteworthy.

The location was very convenient, close to Fiumicino airport and the Ostia area. the metro station near Trastevere was just a short walk away, making it easy to explore Rome. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond with their service. The breakfast provided had a variety of options, including eggs and bacon. The off-street parking was also a bonus, allowing us to easily unload our luggage. Despite the small kitchen issue, our overall experience was very pleasant.

The shared kitchen was quite small and could be challenging to use when crowded with other guests, as mentioned in a review.

Friendly and accommodating family-run B&B with comfortable rooms and access to a shared kitchen/dining area. Convenient shuttle service to and from the airport for a reasonable fee. Enjoyed using the bikes to explore Ostia Antica ruins and go grocery shopping. Relaxing pool area with lounges, chairs, and a hammock. Breakfast provisions in the kitchen provided independence for late arrivals.
